Do American liberals secretly wish they were in Moscow circa 1960s-1970s?

Are there a few very far left factions of liberal America? Sure but on the same token there is a far right, almost fascist, faction of the conservatives. To try and equate all liberals with communism is no more true now than it was in the 1950s with McCarthy.
