Does the Yahoo Answers community have a different set of social norms, as compared to people in real life?

In face to face conversations people will tend to be more reserved when speaking to others. They might tow the line more when giving advice. The anonymity afforded by Yahoo lets people say what they really think without embarrment. People on Yahoo will tell you things they would never say to your face because you don't know who they are and they don't have to see you everyday.
