Is Omaha Nebraska A good city to raise my family?

There is a movie starring Jack Nicholson called "About Schmidt" and he lives in Omaha. It is not a very flattering film. But if you want routine and a practical way of life, and you can accept cold weather, Omaha might be for you. I was born in Omaha and lived there briefly as a boy in 1979-80. School was strict back then, but probably less now. For all the boredom some people ociate with Omaha, I personally ociate it with strong family values.
