Swine Flu Question/Pandemic?

I'd like other peoples thoughts on this please. Being that we are at a phase 6 pandemic level and is now considered a global pandemic and most importantly if they are worried that in the fall or winter this flu will possibly mutate to something worse, is anyone considering homeschooling their children? This is how I look this..in the fall or winter why in the world would we act normal as if nothing is wrong and risk our children's AND families lives in the fall when school starts? Do we send them and just wait to it spreads and kills and then say "OH NO..have to pull the kids out" when it will probably be too late by then or should one consider homeschooling and lessen the risks some? What do you think? And what are your plans for fall?
