Does anyone know anything about spiders?

We had two brown spiders in our laundry room they look like funnel weaver spiders. These spiders are aggressive they will chase you and rear up at you. I cannot find out anything on these spiders does anyone know anything about them, like are they a pair, could they be poisonous. We killed one. These things are scary when they chase you.
